Mother's Day at the Fire Station

Mother's Day morning we headed to see Brett at the fire station for a formal tour.  Friends of ours wanted to see the station, well their kids did, and after exchanging dates we settled on the 13th.  I didn't even realize that it was Mother's Day that day until a couple of days before.  Oops!  The kids had a blast and Brett really pulled out all the stops by showing us everything in the station.  He was a trooper after being up all night the night before!

After the grand tour ended by the guys being called out, we headed across the street to the Elementary School playground for some playing and lunch.  My kids more played and stole the other lunches.  Once Emmett was sweaty and red cheeked it was determined that we wouldn't last long at the park so we had to take off a bit earlier than I had hoped.  But, overall, we had a great morning and loved spending it was friends.  Thanks for driving out to Fall City Eichner and Riley Families!
