While eating breakfast on Sunday we decided that we were going to make it a funday. So, we packed up a days worth of kid survival supplies and headed out the door. We started by driving in to Downtown Seattle for a waterfront Ivar's fish & chips lunch. We stopped and checked out the fire station and fire boats next door, obviously. :)
After we wrapped up lunch we headed to the zoo. We LOVE the zoo. We are so thankful that my Aunt Marci and Uncle Grant renewed our membership. The zoo is fun for so many reasons. It is a kid friendly activity that our whole family enjoys. It requires a TON of walking which leads to a very quiet ride home.
And they serve Dippin' Dots. Mmmm. The rain held off while we were there and the crowd wasn't bad at all so we were able to have a really great time. Funday turned out, well, fun!
